Approaching Zero is a cartoon I created in 2001 when I'd moved to a new state and I needed some friends. Follow the adventures of Divi, Kurtz, Squeak, Finn, and Flo as they navigate the utterly baffling and surreal world of the working poor on the planet Arb (a parallel universe of 21st century America) with some math thrown in for good measure (the square root of 15 joules per second per gallon squared to be exact). I will post a new cartoon every two weeks or so.
This strip is a blend of Greek mythology, science, neuroticism and lunchboxes. There's not much to say about it since it is essentially absurd and not making any profound statements. I don't even remember what inspired it.
I guess Squeak is going to school these days, which is a nice development. However, she's clearly not making any friends, especially now that she's allowed more evil to escape into the world.
